Jack has served as a chairman and member of the Sherwood Arkansas Facilities board since 1978, he has also served as chairman and member of the Sherwood Arkansas Public Building Authority since 1980. In 1971 Jack became a board member for Arkansas Enterprises for Developmental Disabilities (AEDD). He has served there continuously since then and for the last decade has served as board president. AEDD strives to help adults with developmental disabilities find jobs and other resources as well as operate an early intervention center for pre-school kids. He is also a past president and life director for the GLR Home Builder Association, Arkansas Home Builders Association, and the National Home Builders Association
