Woodhaven Homes, Inc. of Sherwood, AR and ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” will announce the family and location of the upcoming build on Thursday, August 14, 2008 after they knock on the door of a well-deserving family in Central Arkansas notifying them they are building the family a new home. On this day, the exact location of the project will be disclosed, and the media is invited to witness the builder and family meeting for the first time later in the day after the “door knock” event.
Hundreds came out on Tuesday, August 5th for a pep-rally kicking off the upcoming Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Central Arkansas. Executive Producer of the show, Conrad Ricketts was on hand to tell the crowd of sub-contractors, suppliers, and volunteers about the upcoming build. Ricketts said this season of the show was focused on “heroes.” Jack Wilson, President of Woodhaven Homes, Inc. thanked everyone who came out and said he was confident the trades and subs he had in place for the project would be up for the task. “This is going to be one of the most heartwarming projects we’ve ever been a part of,” said Wilson. “We’re ready to get started.” Ty Pennington and the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition designers will knock on the door of the deserving family on Thursday, August 14! Get ready Central Arkansas!

Woodhaven Homes Calls for Volunteers for its Team
Woodhaven Homes, Inc. of Sherwood, AR today announced they will join ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for an upcoming build in the Greater Little Rock area. The Central Arkansas builder was selected to oversee and implement an intense one-week build that will change the life of a deserving Central Arkansas family. Though the exact location of the project has not been disclosed at this time, the Woodhaven Homes team looks forward to taking on this unimaginable task to give one of five families selected in the area a life changing gift – a brand new home.
