Wow! What a day!

August 17, 2008 | 11

SUNDAY, AUG. 17, 11 pm - A house now stands where less than 24 hours ago, there was nothing but dirt! I think the pictures speak for themselves, but amazing progress was made today. The slab was poured. The frame was completed. The roof was installed. Windows were installed. Doors were installed. This team is amazing! (See photos below)

I have been working with many many others since Saturday and this is a true miracle of GOD…….every one is busy doing their own part in building Job’s Home….The feeling you get to take part of this awsome experience is absolutley heart warming. The people that are working and giving time to make Job a better place to live are truely loving and careing people. I the feeling u get when u walk up to the home site is LOVE, if you really want a blessing just drive up and have a look around. See what can happen in a very little time if every one will just pull together and give from their hearts. This will bless you and really make you think about how just a little time from others can make a wonderful Miracle happen. God bless everyone who is giving some of their time and effort to help in this event. You will be blessed. I would not change one minute of the time i have spent helping unless it was to do more and give more time on this, which i entend on doing………open heartly……….God bless , and Job you enjoy this new home with your family. You all deserve this wonderful blessing…….Love and God Bless. Deborah Davis

Praise God for all of those who are helping this family. It is amazing to see that this little boy has touched so many. I have read Jobs story and seen all that he has overcome, It breaks my heart to see this child suffer so much but I am pleased to know that he will be able to come home with his family to a safe home. I praise God for
all of the volunteers and designers, BLESS YOU

Thank you everyone! This is Job’s Aunt Tammy and I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone for helping my family. This is a great community and has been just so loving to Job that even though I’ve come “this” close to kidnapping them all and moving them to Michigan with the rest of the family, I know that they are all in good hands here.

Also, I especially want to thank my new work family at Whirlpool in Michigan since they are all covering for me now which has allowed me to be here for this amazing event. I’m excited for my first volunteer shift tonight!! I’ve tried to see if they needed some extra help while I’ve been out there watching, but they haven’t yet. Anyway, we’re holding down the fort here and taking care of the dogs, doing laundry, and anything else that might help them when they get back but I’m still excited to be able to work on the site. Thanks again!
