The House That Job Built

August 16, 2008 | 5

SATURDAY, AUG. 16, 4 PM - This morning several hundred volunteers and family started arriving at 5 a.m. to witness the demolition of Job’s existing house. Over the course of the next five days a house will be erected for a deserving family by a community full of love for the McCully’s. Unlike previous homes built by Woodhaven Homes, this won’t be “The House That Jack Built”, but instead it will be “The House That Job Built”

Praise GOD that Job and his family is finally getting house. It’s all because of one person and that is Jesus Christ! We all put fourth the prayers and they were answered!

I am so happy that the McCulley’s are getting this beautiful house that Job will enjoy and able to maneuver around and do whatever he feels like doing. Praise the Lord!

Blessings to all who are involved with this particular house. May it be a home of the richest blessings in the future for Job and his family. They don’t know me, but I’ve been praying for Job daily for a long time as I received information from the Emmaus community. God is good. Bev

We were so thrilled when we received the news that this wonderful family had been selected to receive a new house. They are such a wonderful family and so deserving. Several years ago they helped us when we were in need and we have never forgotten it. They are more than diserving and we give praise and glory to God for meeting their need. Our prayers are for them and we pray and know that the God of the Bible will bless those that have helped in this worthwhile project in any way.

Amen!! I am a mother of three children and I know how hard it is to just basically survive. I can’t imagine what Job and this family are going through but praise God for all these people who came together to help this family. This world would be a better place with a little more love for others and less for ourselves.
