Meet Job’s Friend Bob
TUEDSAY AUG. 19, 2:00 PM - Bob has become the unofficial foreman / mascot of the build. We’ve been told that Bob routinely comes down the street to visit Job when he is home. Since work began on Saturday Bob has roamed all around the site checking things out. Security is tight, but Bob has full access to everything. You can usually catch him hanging out in the catering or VIP Tent - and he always leaves happy. Bob has seen more people this week and had more fun than he probably has in his entire life, but even Bob is sometimes required to get rest. Notice the last picture. It’s good to know that Job has such a good friend like Bob. Stay tuned for another construction update tonight! (see photos below)
UPDATED: Bob was around so much, we decided to give him a shirt!

What a beautiful home. Can’t wait for Job and his family seeing it for the first time. We are so blessed, that God let us be a part of this wonderful gift to the McCully family. Thanks for considering this family fpr this gift of a lifetime. I am so glad my grand-daughter called me many months ago and told me to go to this child’s web site and put him on my prayer list. She worked with Job’s mother. She told me that Job was a very smart kid. God has many plans for him and his family.
Thanks again,

Job and his family have touched some many lives! As you can see with Bob, not all the lives are human! I know that my life was changed for the better the day this brave and strong young man walked in my classroom in Kindergarten. Thank you to Woodhaven Homes and Extreme Home Makeover for answering everyone’s prayers. You could not have picked a more deserving family! Job, you are an inspiration for us all! We love you! I have been watching Bob the dog for several years now. He is linked to several sandwich thefts in the pleasant valley area, he may seem like a mild mannered dog but behind the floppy ears is a cold blooded criminal don’t leave your lunch laying around it will disappear.

I work at St. Louis Children’s hospital where Job spent many, many, many months waiting for a lung transplant… and recovering after he recieved it. Job gives hope to so many suffering from diseases and ailments that are deemed life threatening. He has gone through so much to have such a cheerful disposition. I saw a poster once that said “I survived damn near everything!” That certainly talks about Job!!! he has survived more deadly incidence than I can count. He gives hope to those who think what they have is unsurvivable. When A patient tells me they are going to die from this or that I think of Job and tell them, miricles happen.

aw, there’s Bob! He is such a good dog. He just layed down by us at the relief tent Saturday night and didn’t move for hours. I’m so glad he looks after Job, and has been able to get “behind the scenes” this week!

Does anyone know someone to give Bob a bath. It would be too cool if they washed him and gave him a collar with the name Bob on it. I called a few places in Little Rock, but most have shops. I was wanting someone to do it on site, not to make him go off to Little Rock.

Bob is great! He has brought many smiles to the workers. He has had his photo taken many, many times and even had one taken with Elvis. I hope that Bob brings as many smiles and laughs to Job as he has to the volunteers -
Will Bob be getting his own house??????? He deserves it!

Poor Bob, what is he going to do when all of you leave. Now that he is used to the star treatment, it might be a bit of a let down. ;o)

Oscar, our Shar-pei, would like to donate a doggy log cabin to Bob if he needs it. Would be a great place for him to hang while Job is resting. If anyone can get in touch with Bob’s family I will deliver it. I can be reached through Shrader Media Group in Sherwood.
Jack……..Glad you had Top Dog Bob out there leading the pack!! You guys did a remarkable job…..all of you!! Jack, this has to be the icing on the cake for you…..it just doesn’t get any better than this. How blessed we all feel that you are part of our “extended family”. God Bless you all!!!!
